Ice Cats - Girls Hockey
The Troy Albany Ice Cats female hockey teams marked their 30th season in 2023. Much has changed since the 1993-94 season but the goal of developing players and providing a positive environment for our players and families has not.
Our Ice Cats become better players, form lasting friendships, graduate from high school and make their way to college.
To date, more than 85 Ice Cats have gone on to play college hockey at Division I, Division II, and Club levels.
Our coaching staff is experienced (and includes 3 former Ice Cats) and they work very hard to develop all of our players.

Tryouts for the 2026–2027 season have concluded. If you have any questions, or if you know of a player who may still be looking to play, please contact rscammell14@gmail.com.
8U Ice Cats players are encouraged to register for our 2026–2027 program, which will begin in October. Registration is currently free, as we are trying to gauge interest and determine the number of girls interested in participating. Program costs will be assessed in late summer or early fall. 8U Registration
